Surgery Information / Job Description

We are looking for a veterinary surgeon to join our team at Dover Whitfield Vets4Pets!

You will be joining our team of 3 vets, 4 nurses, 1 SVN, and 4 receptionists. Due to having such a supportive and experienced team, we can consider applications from enthusiastic, newly qualified vets as well as experienced vets, so if you have an approachable manner and the ability to build strong relationships with patients and clients, we’d love to hear from you!

The practice sees a wide variety of cases and interests within the team include exotics, surgery and internal medicine. We are ideally located inside a busy Pets at Home store on the White Cliffs Retail Park, not far from the A2 and A256. We offer free onsite parking and a bright, air conditioned surgery built to industry leading standards with equipment that includes Digital x-rays, ultrasound, ventilator, endoscope, orthopedic kit.

Person Specification

You will be required to work 35-40 hours per week, which will include a 1 in 3 weekend rota and no OOH. As a team, we work hard but appreciate the importance of a good work-life balance. 

We encourage and support CPD so if you have a particular area of interest, we’d be happy to support this.
