VetFinders are recruiting for our client in Glossop, Derbyshire. This independent practice is looking for an experienced small animal veterinary surgeon, with immediate effect. This is a fantastic opportunity for a 2 years plus qualified vet, looking to join an expanding team, and ever-increasing case load.

The Role:

As a small animal Veterinary Surgeon, you will need to be able and comfortable with a mixture of consultations and surgical procedures of general practice.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience, this is not essential, but preferred.

This role is being offered on a permanent basis at 37.5 hours per week, with 1 inpatient night per week, 1 in 5 Saturdays and weekend in patient duties. No OOH phones. There will be occasional sole charge, along side an RVN from time to time.

The team consists of 7 Vets, 8 RVNs, 1 SVN, 3 ACAs and 8 Receptionists across its two-practice set up, lots of experience to learn from and ask for advice.

The practice has excellent facilities including digital x ray, Ultrasound, Endoscopy, Ultrasonic dental equipment.
