Veterinary Surgeon - Haywards Heath, West Sussex

We are looking for an additional vet for our fantastic 2 and a half vet independent small animal practice, due to expansion and a growing client base.

We are offering a full-time role with a competitive salary and excellent working conditions.

• 4 days a week.
• 1 in 4 Saturdays.
• No OOHs.
• 5 weeks holiday.
• 5 days paid CPD.
• Hours are 8am to 4pm or 11am to 7pm on a rota.

We have digital x-ray, endoscopy, ultrasound and in-house blood analysers.

We lead in offering laparoscopic ovariectomy for our own clients pets and others from around the county, and have done for many years.

Our practice is in an extremely attractive rural location 5 minutes from Haywards Heath and the mainline to London. But we are also only 20 minutes from Brighton and even closer to the stunning South Downs National Park. The building is very spacious, with air conditioning and plenty of parking.

The team are very friendly and supportive, with all 6 qualified experienced RVNs, and some regular locums, who just don’t want to leave!

We are looking for a candidate who has had, preferably, 2 years experience in a UK practice. We would consider someone with less experience if they were progressing well. We are looking for a team player, who is enthusiastic with good communication skills and empathy. The successful candidate would also be keen to learn laparoscopic ovariectomy, and other laparoscopic techniques. We would also support further courses and ambition to progress.
