Veterinary Surgeon required at Robson Vets, Laurencekirk

The Role
NE Scotland Small Animal only practice, based on the Aberdeenshire/Angus border is searching for an enthusiastic and committed veterinary surgeon to expand our team. This is a full-time position working 38 hours over a 4-day week with 1:5 weekend rota. Part time applications will also be considered. We are a well-established, multi-site practice so you will see a good mix of surgical and medical cases on a daily basis.
 
About Us
Our RCVS PSS Tier 3 hospital facilities are based in Laurencekirk with 3 branches in the local area. We have a great team of nurses, on site 24/7 to provide for all our patients’ needs. All the usual facilities are available, also including dental radiography, ultrasound (being upgraded to include cardiac probes), rigid/flexible endoscope, and laboratory and laser facilities. We even have a qualified Animal Physiotherapist on staff. We aim to provide a caring service to our clients and their pets, while offering the best in care and the newest treatments. We are minutes from beaches or mountains, so outdoor pursuits are easy to follow and less than an hour from Dundee and Aberdeen so you can still get your city fix!
 
Applicant Requirements
This role is ideally suited to a vet with some post graduate experience who is confident with routine surgery and 1st opinion medicine, however a good support network is provided by our senior vets for a strong recent graduate. We have forward thinking clinical directors who are keen to push the practice further so if you have a specialised area of interest this will be encouraged.
