Veterinary Surgeon - Bedfordshire

My clients in Bedfordshire are currently looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team. They are currently expanding and welcoming a new member to team to help the practice grow and develop. They operate as a successful first opinion practice in the heart of Bedfordshire with excellent transport links.

They currently have a 10 Vet team which includes AVP’s and certificate holders. ISFM Gold standard cat friendly clinic with separate cat ward as well as all the toys, doppler ultrasound, digital x-ray, laparoscopy, endoscopy, blood pressure, full in-house lab, dental suite with digital dental xray, TPLO kit, PAX locking plate system.

This position would suit an experienced vet wishing to develop clinically as they have excellent facilities and exciting caseloads.

My clients are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic vet who is motivated, experienced and has strong communication skills. The ideal candidate would be a 'people person' who takes a genuine interest in their work environment and is a real team player. Management experience although not essential, would be an advantage.

Opportunities to develop a teaching career (funding for PGCert in Veterinary Education) if desired, specialist interests are welcomed and CPD is supported all the way to certificate level and there is the potential to grow and develop within the clinic.

They offer a great work life balance guaranteeing 1 full day off each week. Ooh rota (from home) for nights is 1 night every 2 weeks and weekends are 1:8. There would be a nurse on site 24 hours.
