Kidderminster Vets4Pets is a family owned small animal practice. Edd is a full time vet with a keen interest in surgery and has recently gained his small animal surgery certificate. Olivia, his wife, is a part time vet with a particular interest in ultrasonography. We have a truly great team of vets, nurses and receptionists that make newcomers feel welcome and provide a supportive environment whilst maintaining a good sense of humor.
We are looking for a confident and ambitious veterinary surgeon to join our established team as the practice continues to grow.
This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious and capable small animal vet to develop their skills at this friendly family run practice with an opportunity for partnership in the future.

Our spacious, air-conditioned surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards.
The practice is well equipped with: Full operating suite, cautery, digital x-ray, dental suite, ultrasound machine, in house blood machines (Idexx catalyst one and Idexx laser cyte)
We are looking for a confident team player who is capable of working independently some of the time, enjoys working to a high standard and has excellent communication skills. A medical bias would be an advantage. Person Specification This role is full time position, 40 hours per week and 1 in 3 Saturdays (9am to 3pm) and no OOH. This ensures our colleagues have a great work-life balance.
The successful applicant will have good general surgical and medical experience, working up cases to a high standard, and be comfortable with limited periods of sole charge. You must also work well within a team and have excellent people skills.
