The role:

A very exciting opportunity has arisen for a Night Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and supportive team at our busy practice in Shrewsbury.

We are currently seeking a Veterinary Surgeon with a few years’ experience, who have a special interest in and passion for emergency and critical care. You will have a client-oriented approach and excellent communication skills.

Experience working in an environment where colleagues support you by sharing skills and knowledge to give our patients the best outcomes. In return, we will provide you with strong mentorship and support to help you develop your career and get the most satisfaction from your job.

This role is full time working 7 nights on 7 nights off.

Salary & benefits

Competitive salary

Accommodation allowance £5,400

Vehicle or vehicle allowance £2,500

CPD allowance plus 3 days CPD leave

RCVS, VDS, BVA fees paid

Branch:

Shrewsbury 24 Hour Hospital has been fully refurbished and comes well equipped with 3 consult rooms, a theatre, CT scanner, digital x-ray, ultrasound, ECG, in-house laboratory and much more. The practice sees a busy and varied caseload and is a training practice for nurses and Vets training on our Graduate Development Programme.

The practice is conveniently located with good transport links to London, Birmingham and Wales.
