Head Registered Veterinary Nurse, Doncaster

We are looking for an experienced RVN to join our friendly practice as Head RVN, to complement our excellent nursing team at Doncaster Vets4Pets, working 40 hours per week. We are in an excellent location, close to A1, M1 and M18, 10 min walk from Doncaster town centre.

You’ll be joining a friendly team of 4 Vets, 2 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 1 VCAs, 7 Receptionists and a Practice Manager. You will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential including theatre work and nurse consults. You will help with the daily running of the practice to ensure a high standard care for Patients and Clients. Nurses are the heart of our practice and perform an integral clinical role in caring for our patients.

Person Specification

We are seeking an ambitious RVN looking to take the next step in their career. This role would suit an experienced registered nurse or a Head Nurse who is happy to lead by example, has great communication and organisation skills and takes pride in working to a high standard. You will have an interest in and want to learn about the practice as a business as well as how to motivate a team to achieve their personal and practice goals. Ideally you will have experience of and enjoy coaching and mentoring student nurses.
