Permanent Full Time Surgical Vet Required for Hospital - West Yorkshire

My client in the West Yorkshire area has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced veterinary surgeon with surgical interests to join their their progressive team as part of a large multi-site first opinion practice.

This position is full time, working a 40 hour week which has been engineered to support a good work life balance, 3.5 days in the week (2 x 12 hour shifts, 1 x 10 hour shift and 1 x half day), weekends are on a 1:4 rota and there is no OOH’s as this is handled exclusively by the dedicated night vets.

You would be joining an established vet team team in an exceptionally well equipped Hospital with all of the toys you would expect, including; CT; 3 theatres; laparoscopy; XR/ultrasound/endoscopy. The clinic has won RCVS awards and prides itself on providing the highest possible standards of patient and client care.

The ethos of the practice focuses very much on development, both individually and practice wide, CPD is both fully funded and supported. The ideal candidate will be strong clinically and would ideally hold a surgical certificate or equivalent.
