We are looking for an experienced veterinary surgeon to join our established and successful team at Wycombe Marsh Vets4Pets!

Our practice is ideally located with free parking and easy access to both the M40 and M25, we also benefit from good train links to London and Birmingham. The practice is situated inside Pets at Home ensuring a busy and loyal client base.

You will have access to all of the excellent facilities including an operating theatre, x-ray machine, Ultrasound machine and dental machine, as well as the support of an established and welcoming team, keen to nurture your skills and help you develop and grow with the business.

You will be joining a team made up of 15 including a team of 3 vets, 3 nurses, 1 SVN, 1 VCA, 6 receptionists and 2 practice managers. They are led by Julia Fry, who qualified in 1991 from RVC, and has been exclusively a small animal vet for many years. We are a close team who and have a very strong emphasis on team empathy.

Person Specification

The ideal vet to join us should be a confident with all routine medical and surgical cases. An interest in a specialism would be preferred but we are flexible around what specialism. An OV would be desirable, but a will to be trained as an OV would be considered too.

You will enjoy building strong relationships with patients and clients and you will be happy to support your fellow team members when necessary in this hands on role.

The role is full time, 35-40 hours per week working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and 1 in 3 weekends. Your hours will be spread over 3 x 10 hour days (with an unpaid lunch break). There will be some sole charge responsibility at weekends, and no OOH.
