Veterinary Surgeon - Southsea, Hampshire

The Cat Clinic is an RCVS and ISFM accredited, friendly, feline only clinic in Southsea, Portsmouth - ten minutes from the seafront. We run as a 2 vet clinic with 3 nurses, who are all RVNs. The team is complimented by very caring receptionists. Our facilities include; digital dental radiography, ultrasound, ECG, in-house idexx biochemistry, haematology and electrolytes, doppler, tonometer, and k-laser.

The Role
This position is based on a 40-hour week to include a 1:3 Saturday morning and some sole charge work. The clinics out of hours are covered by Vets-Now. The full rota will be discussed at the interview. Duties will include consultations, routine surgery including dentistry and investigative workups.

Applicant Requirements
Due to one of our vets heading back to sunnier climates, we require an experienced, enthusiastic, cat crazy Vet. Confidence with sole charge is essential. Ideally you would have some experience with surgical dentistry and ultrasound, although further training can be given if needed. We encourage and welcome new ideas, CPD and we would be supportive of anyone wishing to complete their feline medicine certificate.
