Job Details

We are seeking a full time Veterinary Surgeon to join our purpose-built practice which is situated in the residential area of Wisbech, close to the beautiful Norfolk border.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years' UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience and have a passion for delivering outstanding care to their patients, as well as a first-class service to their clients. You must be a motivated vet with a client-oriented approach and excellent communication skills, work to a very high standard both medically and surgically and have the drive and ambition to help develop this practice further. 

A certificate holder in Orthopaedic Surgery would be an advantage or progression to or support of an existing certificate qualification would be actively encouraged. We would consider an applicant part way through a certificate and arrange to pay any current agreement they may have in place. Salary will be commensurate with certificate holder.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary package up to £51,469 depending on experience, to include:

-Very competitive salary

-£6,600 accommodation allowance per annum

-Vehicle or £2,500 vehicle allowance per annum

-£1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave per annum

-VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid

-5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays per annum

-4 day week plus 1 in 3 Saturdays

This is a great opportunity to work in a busy practice alongside a very experienced and knowledgeable Branch Partner and supportive team. You will be involved in interesting caseloads with access to state-of-the-art technology such as digital x-ray, ECG, dental facilities and in-house laboratory. The practice is proud to offer an array of excellent services.
