Veterinary Surgeon - Dubai

Umm Suqeim Veterinary Centre is Dubai's only 24-hour small animal veterinary hospital - open every minute of every day. We are recruiting for an additional colleague to work alongside 9 veterinary surgeons (3 with Memberships) and 10 qualified veterinary nurses, dedicated nurse assistants, receptionists and a full-time pharmacist. Our premises feature twin villas with separate cat and dog clinics - and a gold standard ISFM cat-friendly hospital. We have a hydrotherapy and physiotherapy centre and dedicated dental suite including dental x-ray, and 2 im3 machines.

It is a busy vibrant practice where we push the standards of care to the highest level and have top quality medicine and surgical skills. There is a plethora of equipment - you name it & we have probably got it! We have Esaote Mylab Seven ultrasound and have full digital radiography. We have a very wide and varied case-load in solely small animal practice, and guarantee you will experience cases that are challenging and rewarding.  For those of you interested in sitting certificates, this is a place where you will be exposed to a high caseload.

You should possess an excellent bedside manner with good communication skills, enjoy working with people and animals, and work well in a team. A minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience is needed for registration, however 5 years is ideal.  We offer an excellent tax-free package (equivalent to £125 000 pa pre-tax in the UK), with good time off and CPD support. A mix of night and day work can allow you up to 4 months off per year.
