We are seeking a full time motivated Veterinary Surgeon to join us in a varied mobile role supporting four practices in our Norwich region, including our new 24 hour Hospital.

Our mobile role provides wonderful flexibility and will give you the opportunity to be involved in interesting caseloads with state-of-the-art technology; you will work a mix of sole charge and in multi-vet practices alongside other experienced vets and certificate holders in the region.

The ideal candidate will have at least six months' UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience and have a passion for delivering outstanding care to their patients, as well as a first-class service to their clients. We offer excellent long-term prospects for the right candidate, with advancement in skills and specialism actively encouraged.

We have an excellent support structure in place and we take pride in our collaborative approach; you will have the opportunity to call upon our experienced vets for advice whenever you need it.

The role is working 4 days per week plus either 1 in 3 Saturdays or 1 in 6 Saturday & Sundays. 

Salary & Benefits:

Package up to £49,469 dependent on experience, to include:

- Competitive salary

- Accommodation allowance £6,600 per annum

- Vehicle or £2,500 vehicle allowance

- £1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days’ CPD leave and in-house CPD training

- VDS, RCVS and BVA fees paid

We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.

Skills and Experience

You must be comfortable and confident with all routine procedures and have the ability to work-up cases with standard diagnostics - blood testing, x-rays and possibly basic ultrasound.

Along with our expertise in all furry creatures, we have a special interest in the treatment of exotic pets, making us the best local all-rounder to support your pet’s health. Our specialist equipment enables us to provide a high standard of care for all our patients, including smaller ultrasound probes, endoscopy systems, a dedicated exotics ward and special dentistry equipment and instruments for smaller patients.
