The role will be based at Pride Veterinary Centre where providing outstanding pet healthcare and client service is essential to us. Consulting at Pride Veterinary Centre is an opportunity to further develop your consulting skills and help us improve our team and the clinics we offer to our clients. The environment is busy, positive, and rewarding. This is a full-time role of 41.50 hours per week working between the opening hours of 8.30am at the earliest start to 7pm as the latest finish. There is also one Saturday morning to work in every five to six weeks.
Each role is interesting and varied, and should you wish to work in our hospital, referral experience is not essential as we provide training for the right applicants. All we ask for is enthusiasm, an excellent work ethic, team spirit and a passion for clinical excellence.
Pride Veterinary Centre offers a range of state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. Our diagnostics and treatments are second to none and we have many highly trained and experienced nurses to ensure that our patients receive the very best treatment. We have 12 local practices who provide quality care, with well-equipped on-site facilities and lots of returning customers who want that friendly team feel. We offer both primary care and a specialist-led referral service in a range of disciplines. The Pride Veterinary Centre clinic nurse team consists of a group of Registered Veterinary Nurses dedicated to carrying out nurse clinics such as flea/worm consults, weight clinics, new pet chats and hearing clinics. Consults are run all day Monday to Saturday in our dedicated nurse room. They contribute to the delivery of outstanding healthcare to our friendly client base.
We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse with nurse clinic knowledge, anaesthesia skills and excellent organisational skills. It would be an advantage to have specialist clinic knowledge, an interest in nutrition, weight management, preventative healthcare, stock control/ordering and a full UK Driving Licence.
