Job Details

We now have a new position for a farm or mixed veterinary surgeon.

Our dynamic farm vet team are a driving force in livestock health, productivity, and welfare. We enjoy the diversity of our client base, from specialist smallholders to 1,500 cow dairy herds. We are proud to continue to offer our own out-of-hours service. However, with your work-life balance being our top priority, we operate a 1:6 rota with time off in lieu. If you are a mixed vet, you can also be part of our small animal vet team - who are an exceptionally collaborative and supportive bunch and enjoy a 2:1 RVN to vet ratio.

Our case load is hugely varied with plenty of opportunity to develop and grow in all areas of veterinary medicine – from routine neutering to complex soft-tissue and orthopaedic surgery. Among other projects, we operate a charity neutering programme on the Greek island of Aegina and invite you to join our annual trips.

If you’re no fan of city life but seek an exciting career while living life to the full, then come join the Priory Vets team. We are a busy RCVS accredited practice located across four sites in Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion. The location is stunning! The striking scenery and pristine beaches on our doorstep offer unforgettable experiences year-round, from dolphin-spotting to mountain biking. Priory Vets has been at the heart of the community for 89 years. We pride ourselves on our gold star service and our clients and staff love us for it. Our secret? Simple - invest in our team and technology.

Are you looking to take the next step in your career? We are a very collaborative team and are caring, compassionate and good communicators. Successful applicants will be effective problem solvers who take a positive attitude to cases, empower colleagues, nurture a great working environment, and have the ambition to take on a leadership role now or in the future.
