Following our recent expansion, we are looking to further develop our wards team with veterinary nurses who are highly motivated and passionate about providing gold standard inpatient care.

The Practice
Eastcott Veterinary Referrals is a purpose built, innovative, tier 3 multi-disciplinary referral hospital, working alongside our primary care team.

Location
Located close to the M4 and Swindon train station, Swindon is a busy town, surrounded by rural villages.

The Role
You will be working in a team of talented and supportive nurses, vets, and support staff, where personal development and professional progression are supported and encouraged.  The Wards Team have an important and central role in the practice, providing care for a wide range of patients from each of our services. These include ophthalmology, neurology, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, dentistry and internal medicine. Your main roles will include

  • Inpatient Care 
  • Post-anaesthetic patient recovery
  • Admitting and discharging patients  
  • Client communication 
  • Physiotherapy 

This is a full-time role working a 40-hour week on a rotating shift pattern alongside a 1:8 weekend rota.
