The role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our well-established teams in our South Yorkshire region, you will be working at practices Wath, South Elmsall and Pontefract.

We strive to provide friendly and personal care to our patients and offer a comprehensive range of modern diagnostic and surgical facilities to ensure the highest levels of care are provided to our patients.

We have an excellent team of vets, nurses and receptionists and aim to build strong and lasting relationships with our clients and patients. Your role will be working as part of a team that supports in theatre, provides inpatient care and carries out consults, admissions and discharges.

Our Veterinary Nurses are also involved in dispensing medication, encouraging financial contributions from clients and maintaining the hygiene and cleanliness of the practice and equipment. We are currently seeking a candidate who is friendly, passionate and works well within a team.

The role is 40 hours per week with 1:4 weekends. A fair share of bank holidays and on call.

Salary & Benefits

Salary dependent on experience 

RCVS fees paid

CPD allowance plus 2 days CPD leave

5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays

Skills and experience:

You must be registered with the RCVS.

A clinical coach would be an advantage or we are looking for someone who would like to become one.

We offer a wide range of services and facilities, including an excellent suite of imaging facilities with CT, MRI, ECG and Orthopaedic equipment and facilities
