Role: Experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon

Location: Coventry

Hours: Permanent, 40 hours a week, 4-day week, 1 in 4 Saturday mornings

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience up to £60k per annum

VetFinders are recruiting for our client in Coventry for an experienced, Small Animal Veterinary surgeon, with immediate effect. The Role:

As an experienced Veterinary surgeon, you will be joining an exceptional team of veterinary professionals, that will offer support in abundance. You will be joining a successful team of 3 other talented vets, 6 brilliant RVN’s, 1 SVN, 4 amazing receptionists and management team. We are looking to grow the team by an additional 2 Vets, with immediate effect, through the progression and extension in clients, which has come through our dedicated and excellent reputation in the local area.

The practice is looking for an experienced all-round vet who is happy and confident with a mixture of ops and consults. Ideally you will have a minimum of 2-3 years UK experience.

The practice is proud to be a ISFM silver accredited practice and RCVS accredited practice.

Must haves: 

  • RCVS registered and qualified
  • 2+ years, post grad, small Animal Experience
  • Possess the right to work in the UK
  • Excellent communication skills

About the practice:

This independent practice is a fast paced, forward thinking, established practice with an excellent reputation within the community. The Practice has been caring for the local animal community since the 1985’s and is a small animal practice.

The practice is currently going through exciting changes, with the extension of not only the building but of their VET team also. As the practice is getting a full refurbishment, including extra consulting rooms, rebranding and a new website.

You will be pleased to know that all modern equipment is in place including, Doppler ultrasound, digital Xray, dental Xray, endoscopy, multi-parameter monitors including capnography, full inhouse Idexx laboratory.
