We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and experienced team in Wycombe Marsh Vets4Pets.

This is a part time role covering 24 hours per week with some flexibility, plus 1 in 4 weekends.

We are based inside the Pets at Home store on the Wycombe Retail Park, close to a selection of local amenities and with good public transport links to London, Oxford, Slough and Aylesbury.

Our bright, air-conditioned surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards including operating theatre, X-ray machine, ultrasound and dental machine and internal lab facilities.

Person Specification

To be successful in this role you will have a good experience of veterinary nursing, excellent customer service and communication skills and be an effective team player. You should also have a systematic approach when making decisions and be able to carry out the role effectively with planning and organisation. We are looking for a friendly, down-to-earth Nurse who has a genuine interest in animal welfare and enjoys the variety provided by the clients and colleagues alike.

The successful candidate would join a rotation of clinical duties to cover various areas such as assisting in theatre, caring for hospitalised patients, and carrying out nurse-led clinics. There may also be the requirement for the successful candidate to cover some reception hours on occasion, or other administrative tasks.
