We are looking for two small animal veterinary surgeons. to join our rapidly expanding clinical team in our purpose built brand new veterinary facility. One with a minimum of 2 years experience and a second where a new graduate will be considered. Located in Standish, Wigan on the M6 corridor close to Cumbria, Liverpool and Manchester. The perfect location for city living or countryside adventures.

We pride ourselves on our quality services and best practice with the emphasis on exceptional client and patient care which can be seen in our various client reviews. We offer our clients digital X-ray including dental x-rays, advanced ultrasonography with cardiology capability, extensive in-house laboratory, endoscopy, tonometry, advanced orthopaedic and soft tissue procedures. We have dedicated large dog and cat wards and an isolation facility.

As an independent family run business with three practices and a well below average staff turnover, we are aware of the demands the veterinary industry places on veterinary surgeons. Our aim is to reduce the stresses placed on our staff by ensuring a genuine work life balance, with a supportive working environment. CPD is the key to expanding and growing the practice and developing our team. We feel CPD should be the veterinary surgeon’s choice and has a budget of £1500 not limited to days or courses, and we offer our staff the freedom of choice when choosing their CPD.

We offer full clinical freedom for veterinary surgeons and encourage seeing cases through from presentation to completion of treatment in order to deliver great outcomes for our patients and clients. We are a very surgical based practice and use a local CT and MRI service. We have a large surgical case load with a certificate holder in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. We conduct TPLO’s regularly and are looking for a candidate interested in surgery.
