Small Animal Vet – The Wirral

One of our vets is sadly leaving to pursue a career in emergency medicine and so we have an opportunity for a new vet to join our friendly team on a full time (4 days per week) basis. Although full time the position is flexible and could suit someone looking for a clinical director role but could also suit someone with at least 3 to 4 years worth of experience.

Both of our practices are Small Animal GP RCVS accredited and are newly renovated/well equipped, with all the usual equipment including digital x-ray, endoscopy, bair huggers, ultrasound, diathermy, ECG and in-house blood machines to mention a few.

As we are independent benefits include full clinical freedom, a generous CPD allowance, RCVS fees paid for, a subscription of your choice, pension, great staff discounts and a competitive salary package commensurate with experience circa £60k (if a clinical director role is wanted).

There is no OOH, we do not work bank holidays and there is only a 1:4 Saturday weekend rota. You also get your birthday off on top of your five weeks holiday allowance.

We are seeking an enthusiastic vet with good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. You will have a great work-life balance working a 40 hour week and with North Wales, Chester and Liverpool on your doorstep.
