We are seeking someone with a passion for emergency and critical care and who thrives working at a gold standard in patient and client care. The successful candidate will have experience in emergency surgery such as including splenectomy, c-section and GDV as well as diagnostics.
This is a permanent full time role, covering an average of 49 hours a week. The shift pattern consists of 7 nights on, 7 nights off (Monday - Sunday) 7pm - 9am - weekends are included in this pattern.
This role offers a total package of up to £62,000 per annum, depending on experience. This includes base of £46,931, £10,200 housing allowance, vehicle or £2500 allowance, £1500 CPD allowance + 2 days CPD leave, RCVS, VDS and BVA membership.

Key Accountabilities
Running the hospital at night alongside a qualified RVN. Managing in patients, emergencies and emergency consults.
Skills and Experience
- Ideally holds or studying for an ECC certificate
- Experience with advanced emergency surgery including splenectomy, c-section and GDV
- Experience with diagnostics including abdominal and cardiac ultrasound
- Excellent communication and ability to approach a busy hospital with a calm disposition
