Registered Veterinary Nurse required at Fair City Vets, Perth!
The Role
We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team of 4.5 vets and 5 nurses. Your role will involve all aspects of veterinary nursing including nurse consultations, anaesthesia and care of inpatients. This is a full time position and includes working 1 Saturday in 4. We outsource our OOH, however, we do occasionally have inpatients in which case our nurses cover the night time in patient check - this is not a common occurrence.
About Us
Fair City is a 100% SA practice situated in Perth, right on the doorstep of the beautiful countryside or easy access into Edinburgh if you prefer city life. After a recent refurb, we now have a separate cat and dog waiting area and run a cat only clinic. We are proud to hold the silver ISFM accreditation. We take referrals for laser therapy and see a good varied first opinion caseload. We have all the usual equipment with separate dog and cat wards, imaging suite, prep room and theatre.
Applicant Requirements
We require a motivated veterinary nurse who is competent in the following tasks: monitoring anaesthetics, venepuncture, taking/processing radiographs, performing routine lab procedures, care of hospitalised patients and nurse consultations. We welcome and encourage those with specialist interests.
