Are you a Veterinary Surgeon who is looking to take the next step in your career? Then this could be the role for you.

We are hoping to find someone who can lead our wonderful team by immersing themselves in the day to day clinical aspects whilst setting an exceptional example and supporting the rest of the team. Whilst some CD roles are admin heavy, we are looking for someone who loves their clinical work, is keen to teach and nurture the vets of the future and generally drive the practice forward by leading the progression and development of the practice. Of course, there will be some admin involved too including being involved in the finances of the surgeries, budgetary management, stock management and addressing any clinical issues which may arise.

Unicorn Vets is a three-site group with a central Southampton surgery, a surgery in the New Forest and a surgery in Fair Oak near Eastleigh. Southampton is an amazing city, which combines a medieval history with being the hub of modern sea faring. There are thriving paddleboard and kayaking clubs in the area, as well as a number of marinas. If this is not to your taste then the New Forest provides an excellent location for walking, horse riding and biking. There are also excellent transport links to Winchester. We are a team of nine full time vets, nine RVNs and two student nurses plus highly experienced reception teams at each site.

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic vet who is motivated, experienced and has strong communication skills. The ideal candidate would be a 'people person' who takes a genuine interest in their work environment and is a real team player. Management experience although not essential, would be an advantage.
