Job Details

We have two positions available, ideally suited to experienced veterinary surgeons, but confident new graduates would also be considered. We have one role available at our central hospital due to continued expansion and a second position at one of our branch surgeries to replace one of vets who is moving to new pastures. The hospital-based role would especially suit someone with a strong interest in soft tissue surgery, but candidates with other areas of special interest are also very much encouraged to apply. Our out-of-hours work is covered by a dedicated team of night vets and nurses such that our day vets are expected to do little or no night work.

We prioritise ensuring that our staff have a very good work life balance such that they can enjoy the countryside and beaches in this beautiful area. We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic applicants who value being part of a strong and supportive team and in return we are willing to offer an excellent package to the right candidates.

We are a large hospital based practice located in the heart of Cornwall with some of the county’s most beautiful coastline only ten minutes’ drive from our main site. We have a ‘best of care’ ethos and prioritise delivering a high standard of care to our patient and a top level of service to our clients. We are rapidly growing and a highly progressive practice and we have an enthusiastic, capable and vibrant team of vets and nurses. There is a very strong team spirit within our group and our staff typically stay with us for many years we provide both a first opinion and referral service and we have a specialist orthopaedic surgeon who heads up our referral team.
