Lead Veterinary Surgeon - Surrey

My client in Surrey is looking for a friendly and confident Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join their busy practice.

 The practice opened 9 years ago and has built a strong and loyal client base and excellent reputation in the local area.

 You will be joining a welcoming and experienced team of  3-4 Vets practice 3 RVN’s  and supported by a dedicated team of SVN’s and VCA’s and Receptionists. The practice believes strongly in investing in people, so would be keen to support the right candidate with professional development.

As a purpose-built small animal practice, the surgery is equipped with modern surgical and diagnostic equipment including digital x-ray, ultrasound, Idexx catalyst analyser, diathermy, lactate analyser and Cardiopet ECG among other equipment. The practice also recently invested in a refurbishment of their waiting area to improve their patient and client experience.

My client has a very exciting opportunity within their team for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career as a Lead Vet. Applicants will be confident with all routine surgical and medical cases and special interests will be welcomed and supported. A large element of the Lead Vet role will involve mentoring and supporting less experienced Vets, helping them to develop to their full potential. The practice offers clinical freedom and the opportunity to work with a varied and loyal client base, working up cases to a high standard.

Due to the capabilities within the team and the age of the practice, their caseload is varied with no two days being the same! Their new Vet will be confident with all routine surgical and medical cases and enjoy building relationships with patients, clients and the team.

This is a Full Time role with a weekend rota rota of 1 in 3, which will be sole charge.
