The Practice
Once upon a a time.. we were the the UK's first feline only practice.  The Cat Clinic is a 4 vet independent, first opinion practice where we strive for clinical excellence and great customer service.  We have a very knowledgeable, supportive nursing team, friendly receptionists and a great team spirit.

The Cat Clinic is now based in fairly affluent residential area of Edinburgh yet only a stones throw from the Edinburgh highlights - the castle, Arthur's Seat and many more. Our civilised rota allows time to experience it all!

The Role
Experienced veterinary surgeon required for  4 vet practice. Usual mix of consults and surgery time. Typically 3 day per week rota, one in four rota for  Saturday morning consults with responsibility to care for in-patients hospitalised over your weekend/ after your evening surgeries. Out of hours provided by Vets Now.

Successful Candidate
Although the majority of the time there are at least 2 vets present, there is some sole charge required so experience and confidence is a must. The successful candidate will have excellent clinical skills, be a team player with great compassion and communication skills too.

A love of cats ( grumpy or otherwise) is essential.

We are looking for someone with real empathy who is friendly/reassuring/approachable to both clients and cats alike.

The Package
Salary commensurate with experience, RCVS fees paid, CPD allowance, certification encouraged.
