The role:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join our practice in Hinckley. 

Our practice has a very long-standing and friendly client base who appreciate the personal service we provide. The practice has a fully supportive team that enjoy lots of laughs and are dedicated to their clients and patients. This practice runs on a 4 day working week plus 1 in 3 Saturdays. There is a share of bank holidays at our Leamington Spa 24 hour centre plus a second on-call rota of 2-3 weeks per year. 

What you'll bring to the team?

You must be an experienced vet with a client-oriented approach and excellent communication skills, work to a very high standard both medically and surgically and have the drive and ambition to help develop this practice further. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-5 years' UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience. You will work under an experienced Clinical Director, who will be based out of our Bedworth Heath Road branch.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary package up to 65k depending on experience, to include:

• Competitive salary

• Vehicle or £2,500 vehicle allowance

• £6,600 accommodation allowance

• £1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave

• VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid

• 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays

Hinckley is a lovely market town in southwest Leicestershire, the town is situated midpoint between the bustling cities of Leicester and Coventry with fantastic commuter routes onto the major motorway networks. Our Medivet Hinckley Station Road practice is conveniently located closely to Hinckley Town Centre where you can find an excellent variety of shops, independent cafes and restaurants.

Our compassionate and experienced team based at Hinckley Station Road are dedicated to delivering exceptional client and patient care. We offer a full range of veterinary services and facilities, including nurse clinics and dental procedures. The practice is equipped with the latest technology including digital x-ray, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory and much more!
