About Us

Celyn Vet Group have two, well-established Veterinary practices based in Holywell & Prestatyn. We offer high standards of first opinion care to small animals. We now have a rare opportunity for an Experienced Vet Surgeon to join our fantastic team! This vacancy would best suit an experienced Vet Surgeon who is confident in all aspects of general practice as there will be the occasional sole charge duties. This is a great opportunity to work in a practice where you can really offer that personal touch and make a mark on the surgery. Our whole team is made up of 3 Vet Surgeons (one an Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Medicine), 3 caring RVNs, 3 SVNs, 1 Groomer and 5 Receptionists. You will be mainly based at our Prestatyn site so you’ll have the opportunity to build a close relationship with that half of the team and maintain case continuity.

We appreciate all of our team and their handwork and try to show this as much as possible. You can be sure to never be short of cups of tea accompanied by lots of chocolate and cake! However, the icing on the cake is that we have our own, mini, staff pet ward so you can even bring your dog to work with you! Not only are we blessed to have such a great team but we also have a fantastic, loyal client base. We are big on preventative health care and case continuity which means that you often build great working relationships with your clients, as well as having the pleasure of seeing you patients grow, over the years.

In general, our caseload is varied but we have a good mixture of consultations and surgeries. Investing in our practice, care and team is important to us. So we would be keen to support your expertise or learning goals and incorporate them into services for the practice, if possible. So, please do talk to us about any Certificates you are aiming for. We are very lucky to be based in the beautiful location of North Wales! We are spoilt with natural beauty from beaches to blissful country walks! Snowdonia and the Lake District are also easily commutable. We have great transport links the Chester, Liverpool and Manchester for those who enjoy the bigger cities.
