Role: Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon

Location: Loughborough

Hours: Permanent, 40 hours a week, 4-day week, no OOH’s, rota can include Saturday morning.

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

VetFinders are recruiting for our independent client in Loughborough for an experienced, Veterinary Surgeon, with immediate effect. This is a fantastic opportunity for a small animal vet looking for 4 days per week and no OOH’s.

Our client is looking to expand the team and add an additional Vet to its wonderful practice.

The Role:

We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic, Veterinary Surgeon, committed to providing high standards of patient care. The ideal candidate will be happy with a good mix of consults and surgery, in first opinion, small animal.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience, this is not essential, but preferred.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Vet, who is looking for a partnership in time. There is real opportunity to grow and develop with the practice and investment into your future is guaranteed. Involvement in running the practice in time.

About the practice:

This independent practice is a fast paced, forward thinking, established practice with an excellent reputation within the community. This family practice was established in 1983, with a friendly team of staff who are retained and valued.  

The practices’ aim is to provide the highest standards of customer service and care for its owners and their pets, to get the animals as well as possible.

The practice has a good array of usual toys, and are happy to add to their equipment with any new recruit’s preferences.

Must haves:

• RCVS registered and qualified
• Possess the right to work in the UK
• Excellent communication skills
• Be a team player
• Minimum 3yrs experience in the UK preferred
