The role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a veterinary surgeon to join our Hucknall practice, this role is full time working 4 days per week giving you an excellent home/work life balance. Part time applicants will also be considered.

You will be responsible for consulting, surgery, diagnosis and treatment of patients, inpatient care, supporting reception and nursing staff with regards to clinical services, customer service, pricing and estimating fees, dealing with client concerns.

Salary Package (dependent on experience):
Salary up to £55,000
Accommodation Allowance: £6,600 per annum
Vehicle Allowance: £2,500 per annum
CPD allowance: £1,500 per annum
BVA, RCVS and VDS fees paid

Skills and experience:

Minimum of two years small animal practice, being involved in the responsibilities described above, working with high volumes of patients. Ability to manage staff and deal with clients.
Registered with the RCVS to practice as a veterinary surgeon in the UK. English speaking to a good standard essential.

Branch:

Hucknall practice consists of a 4 vet team, one of which has a certificate in surgery supported by a large team of support staff.

The practice is fully equipped including a seperate operating theatre, digital x-ray, ultrasound and endoscopy with access to MRI and CT scanner at our otheropaedic referral clinic - Referrals East Midlands.

Hucknall practice is close to Nottingham city centre, the home of Robin Hood.
