We are offering an exciting opportunity for a lead veterinary surgeon to join the team at the brand new, purpose built Gillingham practice!

Gillingham offers excellent transport links into London and the practice is based within a busy Pets At Home store with free onsite parking.

You will be joining a team of 1 very experienced Vet, 2 RVN's, 1 VCA and a team of full time and part time receptionists. The bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery has been purpose built to industry leading standards with state of the art equipment including digital x-ray, theatre and in-house laboratory facilities.

Person Specification

Gillingham is now looking for an experienced and forward-thinking veterinary surgeon to join the team. This position would suit someone looking to take the next step in their career in a lead role and there are even potential partnership opportunities. Applicants will be confident with all routine surgical and medical cases and special interests will be welcomed and supported. A large element of the lead vet role will involve mentoring and supporting less experienced vets when needed, helping them to develop to their full potential.

The role will include a weekend rota of 1 in 3 full weekends with time off in the week. There are no OOH, meaning all of our colleagues can enjoy an excellent work-life balance.
