Company

The Arg Beiyn Veterinary Practice was formed in 2001 when Edric Cross and Karl Bovenizer purchased the practice from Stuart Angus. It was our desire to create a modern, well equipped and caring practice and we have be striving for that since our inception.

Our Onchan surgery underwent major changes and investment soon after purchasing the practice to give a modern veterinary hospital environment. In December 2006 we moved our Ramsey surgery onto Parliament Street and brought it up to the modern standards of our Onchan branch. Peel still acts as a satellite and feeder branch. We accept referrals from other practices on the island in Cardiology and Surgery.

The Education of our staff is paramount to us and we currently boast certificate holders in surgery and cardiology, 3 fully qualified nurses and 2 trainee nurses. To accompany our excellent staff we have invested in the modern diagnostic and monitoring equipment to ensure that pets receive the best possible treatment. The majority of our diagnostic work, including Xrays and laboratory work, is done in house allowing us to get results as quickly as possible.

A caring attitude is very important along with  all the best equipment. We encourage our staff to treat all of our patients as they would their own pets. We have separate dog and cat wards to keep patients calmer, and try to encourage separation in the waiting rooms. All of our staff want to ensure that clients have the least stressful visit possible.
