Imaging Veterinary Surgeon - North West London

Medivet 24-hour Hendon are currently recruiting for a second imaging vet to join the team and co-manage the CT/MRI department. 

The department is housed in a separate advanced imaging building in the extensive main hospital gardens. It also has an arthroscopy/spinal theatre and a kennel room. 

The role primarily involves performing CT and MRI scans after making an initial clinical assessment and differential diagnosis list for a vast range and number of cases. Ability to Ultrasound would also be an advantage.

You will work alongside a fellow imaging vet and dedicated Imaging RVN.

You will also have the benefit of external support, as the images are sent to our specialist team at VetCT for a full diagnostic report – an excellent learning tool to enhance your knowledge.

You will have a keen interest in advanced imaging and ultrasound, and hold a certificate/PHD in imaging or be working towards one.

Ideally, we would like the successful candidate to join as soon as possible, training will be provided as required.

This role offers a competitive salary with accommodation allowance, vehicle or allowance, £1500 CPD allowance plus 3 days CPD leave, RCVS, VDS and BVA membership. 

It works to a 4-day week with 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends. 5 weeks annual leave including bank holidays.
