We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to come and join our friendly and vibrant team at Hartlepool Vets4Pets.

You will be joining practice owners and veterinary surgeons, Kathryn Green and Joanne Ciavarella, along with their friendly team of 16, including 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse and 2 Veterinary Care Assistants. Our team here see a wide variety of caseloads, not just from cats and dogs but also the occasional small furry or wildlife from the local beaches.

We’re looking for a vet to ideally work 40 hours per week with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings only. There are no OOH requirements and occasional sole charge.

Person Specification

The successful candidates will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to conduct basic consultations and perform routine surgeries such as neutering, dental work, lumpectomies, etc.

There are no OOHs and some Sole Charge may be required as per the weekend rota. Newly graduated Veterinary Surgeons will be considered.
