The University of Glasgow, Small Animal Hospital is seeking to recruit a Veterinary Clinician (Out of Hours). You will join our team of highly qualified and experienced veterinary surgeons in delivering an out of hours emergency service for local first opinion practices by providing expertise and clinical activity to the Small Animal Hospital.
You will enhance and develop the delivery of clinical teaching to undergraduates and clinical scholars. Thereby contributing to objectives relating to national and international excellence in clinical service and teaching.
The School of Veterinary Medicine has an international reputation in teaching, clinical services and research and is accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS), the European Association of Establishments of Veterinary Education (EAEVE) and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).
You will hold a veterinary degree registrable with the RCVS and have post-graduate clinical experience as a veterinary surgeon.
This position is open ended and full time.
The working pattern of the post includes weeknights and weekend shifts, and may be tailored to accommodate individual preferences.
