The role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced mobile veterinary surgeon to work in our Shrewsbury branches.

This position will be to fill in for holiday cover and will across the Shrewsbury region which includes: Newtown, Lawley, Oakengates, Shawbirch, Rocester, Newcastle, Nantwich, Wem, Whitchurch and the 24-hour hospital based in Shrewsbury itself. Many of the branches are partner run clinics and will need somebody experienced in their absence to provide a high level of service and to work up cases to a high standard.

Our Medivet branches are equipped with in house lab, ultrasound, x-ray and operating facilties. More advanced operations can be referred to the local 24 hour hospital. 

This role is full time working 4 days per week with 1:6 full weekends.

Skills and experience:

You must be a veterinary surgeon registered with the RCVS.
