Full-time Veterinary Surgeon - Clay Cross, Derbyshire
We are currently working a 4.5-day week with 1:5 Saturday/Sunday mornings. There are no OOH requirements and as a Vets Now host practice, our hospitalised patients are all well looked after. Should you be relocating to the area, temporary accommodation can be made available whilst you settle in.
The Charlesworth Veterinary Surgery is a two-site small animal practice in Derbyshire. Our larger branch is in Clay Cross, supported by our second base in South Normanton. We are a team of 5 Vets, 6 RVNs and 4 SVNs with a large support team. We are well equipped with all the usual kit, including digital x-ray, ultrasound and a full in-house lab, with the addition of a k-laser to support our chronic pain services. We are a supportive practice and encourage regular case discussions. Case continuity is also very important to us.
As there will be some sole charge branch work required, applicants should be confident with all routine consults and surgeries and be able to work unassisted. Travel between branches is necessary, so you must have your own transport. Interests in exotics or imaging, whilst not necessary, would be welcomed and encouraged.
