Company

Walpole and Bingham Veterinary Surgeons was founded in 1949 by Captain Robert Walpole, still fondly remembered by some of our more mature clients. Nigel Walpole qualified from The Royal Veterinary College London in 1973 and joined his father in the practice in 1976, soon becoming a partner.

Tom Bingham qualified from the University of Glasgow Veterinary College in 1976 and joined the practice in 1977. Robert Walpole retired in 1979 and the current partnership of Walpole & Bingham was formed in 1984.

The premises, until 1962 doubling as the Walpole family home, has been improved and extended over the years to provide a modern veterinary clinical environment.

We have been accredited by the governing body for veterinary surgeons, The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS), with an award under the 'Practice Standards Scheme'.

The wisdom and experience of the senior partners is backed up by the new ideas and enthusiasm of our younger vets.
