Our small animal practice in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire is looking for an enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to join our busy team.

Based on the busy Borehamwood Retail Park in the Pets at Home store, our surgery is bright, spacious, air-conditioned and built to industry-leading standards. We have state-of-the-art equipment, including digital x-ray and ultrasound. We are situated just a five-minute walk from the train station, just 25 minutes by direct train into central London, and we offer free on-site parking.

Person Specification
We are a friendly and busy team made up of 2 vets, 1 veterinary care assistant, 1 client care advisor and a practice manager. We are also looking to complete our team and currently recruiting for an RVN and an SVN.

We are looking for a passionate, experienced vet with excellent relationship-building skills and confidence in routine surgery and consults. We see a wide variety of small animal cases, including a higher-than-average caseload of exotics.

We are offering full-time hours with a 1 in 2 weekend rota (Saturday 9am-6pm and Sunday 10am-4pm). There is no OOH responsibility with this role, ensuring a great work-life balance.
