Coventry Walsgrave Vets4Pets are looking for an experienced, compassionate and enthusiastic head veterinary surgeon to lead our team of vets and to support the Joint Venture Partner in continuing to deliver excellent pet health care and customer service, as well as growing the business.

After re branding back in 2018 you will be working in a bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery, built to industry leading standards and have use of state of the art equipment including digital radiography, ultrasound, and in house blood machines.

Person Specification

Situated just minutes from the M6 and M69, the practice is within easy reach of both Birmingham and Leicester and being based within a busy Pets at Home store in a popular residential area, there is ample opportunity to see a wide variety of interesting medical and surgical cases, with approximately 80% of our clients being insured.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, ambitious and work well within a team, joining our friendly team of 4 vets, 4 nurses, 3 receptionists and 1 practice manager. You must be confident with routine surgical and medical cases with a certificate in soft tissue surgery or orthopaedics being an advantage but not essential. Previous experience in a leadership role would also be an advantage.


The role is full-time and includes the following excellent benefits:
