Veterinary Surgeon (Part-time) - Sandhole, Kent

Sandhole Veterinary Centre in Sandhole, Kent, is looking for a part-time vet to join its award-winning practice.

The Practice
This well-equipped, first opinion practice was Petplan’s Practice of the Year in 2018, and promises high standards of both customer and patient care. Its team of nine vets includes two medical certificate holders, a cardiology certificate holder and several vets who are working towards certificates, including surgery and exotics. It also has 10 outstanding RVNs, with a vet once quoting: “If Carlsberg made nurses, they would be Sandhole nurses.” The practice also has a customer care team, animal nurse assistant and office team; and facilities include ultrasound, digital x-ray, two theatres, separate dog and cat wards, exotics ward, full Idexx lab suite, endoscopy, dental x-ray and on-site crematorium.

The Role
The role consists of a two-day week, including one in three Saturdays and no out-of-hours expectations.

Successful Candidate
The successful candidate will have at least three years of experience.
