Registered Veterinary Nurse (Night & Twilight hours) - Winchester

Reporting to: Night Nurse Manager

Hours: Various hours available, starting from 4pm with participation in the ‘out of hours rota’ (weekends and bank holidays).

Salary: Circa £27,000 basic per annum (based on working 40 hours per week), plus generous supplements for working ‘out of hours’

Location: Winchester, SO21.

Anderson Moores is a truly multidisciplinary team providing specialist-led referral services across the South of England. Our services include Internal Medicine, Soft Tissue Surgery, Cardiology, Dermatology, Orthopaedics, Neurology, Physiotherapy and Diagnostic Imaging. Due to continued expansion, we are looking for qualified Nurses to join our Ward and Night Nursing teams. About the role The night/twilight shift is predominantly inpatient care including high dependency and assisting with out of hour emergencies. As a Night or Twilight nurse, you will be working alongside an experienced out of hours nursing team who have a passion for the work they do.

Our case load guarantees you will be able to put your nursing skills into practice and will be used to their full potential in a highly rewarding environment.

The shifts will include:

▪ Night Nurse: working 3 shifts per week between Sunday – Friday (12-hour shifts, 8pm – 8am), with participation in the out of hours rota (1 in 3 Saturday nights and bank holidays). Note: We have both permanent and 12 months maternity cover positions available.

▪ Twilight Nurse: working shifts between Monday – Friday (various shifts starting from 4pm), with participation in the out of hours rota as required. Note: We have a 12 months maternity cover position available, with the possibility of extension. Experience in referral nursing is preferred, however not essential. To be considered for this role, candidates must:

▪ Be a qualified RVN

▪ Have good organisational and communication skills

▪ Work well in a busy environment

▪ Have a proactive ‘can do’ attitude

▪ Be eligible to work in the UK.
