Black Rock Vets is a friendly, long standing, independent small animal practice in Burnham on Sea, Somerset. We aim to give the highest level of customer and patient care treating patients like our own, providing time and support to work cases up thoroughly. We are a three vet, three nurse and two reception team, covering our own out of hours. The rota averages to a 4 day working week with 2 nights a week on call including one weekend in four. There is on site accommodation if required.

We have a second satellite branch near Bridgwater that is open for a few hours most days. We are a growing practice with aspirations to open a third branch over the next year and expand to 4 vets. We are proud to have recently achieved RCVS accreditation status, and we are a Gold Cat Friendly and Silver Rabbit Friendly practice.

We have in house diagnostic facilities promoting gold standard treatments and responsible use of antibiotics. These include Idexx biochemistry and haematology analyser's, automated urine analyser, microscope, CR radiography and ultrasound.

A tantalising opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic small animal vet with preferably 1 year of experience, but a confident new graduate will be happily considered. We are looking for a candidate who would like to build strong client bonds and work along side a clinical team who encourage and support your growth in a field of your passion.

Partnership opportunity in the future to the right candidate.
