The role:

Medivet Willesborough (Peter Edgar Veterinary Surgery) are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to come and join their well-established practice.

The practice is a 100% small animal accredited training practice which is well equipped with the usual gadgets and toys (including bair huggers, heat pads, infusion pumps, syringe drivers, pulse oximeters, capnograph & blood pressure monitors).

Your average day will include a variety of nursing duties, reception duties and working in theatre, with plenty of client and pet interaction. There is an equal share of the rota with all nurses in this amazing and close-knit team.

You must have a passion for delivering outstanding client and patient care and enjoy working in a supportive working environment. You’ll have a friendly and positive attitude and want to progress and expand your knowledge and skills further.

The role will cover 40 hours a week and the rota will be discussed in further detail at interview stage. There is no on-call for this role and you will be part of an equally shared weekend rota.

This practice is located in Willesborough, Ashford and can be found around the corner from William Harvey Hospital. The area is a pleasant village based in Kent and is surrounded by a range of shopping facilities, restaurants and bars. There is also nature and wildlife to be found, including the Conningbrook Lakes Country Park, a hidden gem which is known for providing lovely strolls, sailing and fishing classes.
