Job Details
We are seeking someone keen to establish themselves as a lead vet whilst working in a supportive network, to join our Canford Heath practice in Poole, Dorset.
The role works to a 4-day week plus 1:3 Saturday or Sundays with fair share of bank holidays/on-call with the larger regional team.
You must be an experienced vet with a client-oriented approach, excellent communication skills, work to a very high standard both medically and surgically and have the drive and ambition to help develop this practice further.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience. Ideally you will have some experience leading a small team or have a willingness to gain that experience with some close mentoring in leadership and branch management.
You will be proactive and confident working sole charge with the ability to make sound clinical judgement. Previous experience of managing a clinic would be an advantage but not essential.
This role offers a competitive salary plus vehicle or £2,500 vehicle allowance per annum, £6,600 accommodation allowance per annum, £1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD, VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid, 5 weeks annual leave plus.
