Job Details
Full-time small animal Veterinary surgeon to join a friendly and supportive team. Four-day week, no OOH.
The Practice
Gower vets has a friendly and supportive team with experienced vets and certificate holders. We have a varied caseload consisting of both medical and surgical cases. We are a modern practice with a good range of equipment including digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy (and rigid endoscopy), Ligasure, full orthopaedic kit and dental radiography (by end of 2020). We are based in one location and have a great clientele.
Location
The practice is based near to the Gower peninsula, an area of outstanding natural beauty. We are fairly close to the M4 and have good travel connections.
The Role
- Small animal veterinary surgeon.
- 4-day week
- Rotating weekend work (sole charge)- currently 1:6
- Both surgical and medical caseload
Successful Candidate
We are looking for a veterinary surgeon with 2+ years’ experience within small animal practice.

Our clients value the services that we offer and the care that we provide to their pets. We have a car park on site, so we are easily accessible for owners when they bring their pets into practice.
In 2018 we joined Linnaeus Group to further enhance our practice and make it a truly community veterinary surgery.
