Veterinary Surgeon - Hambleton, Lancashire

We are now in a position to be able to offer a fantastic opportunity for the right person, to join our amazing 5 Vet team!

Moy Vets have 2 fully equipped sites that are light, spacious and comfortable to work in. One of our sites is a beautiful new build and our other site was recently renovated. Our practices are well equipped with digital x-ray, in house laboratory, ultrasound, great K-laser and a dedicated room for difficult client conversations.

We have a varied caseload which is predominately first opinion. We are big on preventative health care and we offer our clients a wonderful discount plan. Case & client continuity is important to the team but also to our clients, so we will do everything that we can to ensure consistency. This means that during your time at Moy Vets, you will be able to build great rapport with your clients and patients as well as being able to offer a personal service!

The Role
As a Veterinary Surgeon at Moy Vets your role will be a varied mixture of consultations and surgeries. Our wonderful team would be able to offer a fantastic level of support whether this be towards helping building confidence with first opinion duties or providing support towards more advanced procedures for a Vet Surgeon with a specialist interest.

We are keen to consider all experience levels and finding the right addition to the team is key. We are a friendly, welcoming bunch and you will never be short of laughs. As a group we also have a fantastic Vet Refresh programme which offers amazing support for Vets who are returning from a break out of the industry and also we may be able to offer a relocation package as financial support for Vets who are relocating.

The rota;

• Full and part time applications are welcomed
• 4 days per week- full time
• An early finish each week
• Just a 1-in-5 on call rota.
• Just 1-in-5 weekends- Saturdays; 8:30am – 12. Sundays; 1 hour of consultations

Work life/balance is so important and our rota may have some flexibility. The team work so hard that down time is not only needed but encourage and well deserved!

We are blessed with being in a beautiful coastal position within Lancashire offering amazing beaches (and dog walks) as well as being close to the beauty of Ribble Valley, Forest of Bowland and the Lakes District. We are also just a short train ride/ commute away from many major cities.

We have a really settled team and this is the first time in over 2 years that we have had a position available. Moy Vets really is a great place to work but please don’t just take my word for it!
