Rewarding Night Veterinary Position in Hong Kong.

Tai Wai Small Animal and Exotic Hospital.

A kaleidoscope of life, a sophisticated fusion of East and West!

Our twenty-four hour hospital was established 23 years ago by two Glasgow University graduates, in a traditional area of Hong Kong, close to the sea, mountains and country parks, yet only 30 minutes drive to the Central Hong Kong business district.

Hong Kong is one of the safest cities in the world to live, and has performed well with the COVID-19 crisis, having an extensive testing and quarantine system in place. Currently there is very little community transmission or cases and there has been less than 1 death per million people.

We are looking for a vet with at least one year experience in small animal practice, and an interest in learning about exotics.

We would prefer a vet with (or working towards) a further qualification in emergency or critical care medicine.

What we offer:

  • A long term position in an established practice
  • Base Salary: £ 60- 80,000 per year depending on qualifications
  • Monthly production bonus depending on income generated - potential yearly salary of up to £120,000 depending on skills and experience
  • Annual leave: 20 days plus 12 days public holiday
  • Continuing Education leave: 10 days (budget. £1 500.00 per year)
  • Low tax rate: maximum 17 %
  • Life in an exciting city!

Our hospital is busy, with a 50% exotic caseload, and 10 full time veterinarians. It is our commitment to provide the best health care to all species in our hospital, with a focus on educating our clients and providing a rewarding working environment for all our staff.

We can provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures with an in house laboratory, surgery suite, endoscopy (we have 8 different endoscopes!), laparoscopy, radiography, ultrasonography and in house CT. We have separate hospitalization, isolation and ICU wards for all the diverse species groups we treat. For more information please see www.taiwaiexotic.com

Please respond by 1st October
